For our European headquarters in Eindhoven, we are looking for a Junior Business Controller !

In the role of Junior Business Controller , you will have the following responsibilities:

• Preparation of forecasting and management reporting
• Commercial analysis on country level
• Further development of BI solutions and dashboards
• Marketing cost control and project cost monitoring
• Key account profitability analysis
• Supporting financial reporting processes
• Identifying deviations and proactively contributing to explanations
• Collecting, structuring and validating data from multiple sources
• Driving process improvements and quality control initiatives

• Learn to interpret numbers in a business context
• Identify patterns and ask the right questions
• Work cross-departmentally and close to commercial decision-making
• Be challenged to improve reporting, processes and BI tools

Who are we looking for?

Do you have a hands-on mentality, set clear priorities and goals, are you proactive and open to (sporting) challenges and communicative? Then you are the right person!

What do we ask?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance & Control or similar
• Strong interest in business controlling
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, complex formulas, working with datasets)
• Affinity with ERP systems (preferably Navision)
• Quick learner in digital tools and systems
• Basic understanding of financial reporting and budgeting
• Strong analytical skills
• Is curious and wants to understand why numbers move
• Takes initiative instead of waiting for instructions
• Feels comfortable in an informal and dynamic organization
• Can work independently but collaborates easily
• Enjoys improving processes and challenging the status quo
• Wants to develop continuously and contribute to team growth
• Proficiently in both Dutch and English

Nice to have:

• Experience with BI tools and dashboards
• Internship or first working experience within finance/business control
• Affinity with sales and marketing data
• Interest in AI tooling and automation within finance
