Construction Engineer - Pharma

PM Group are seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to join our pharma construction project team in Ghent, Belgium.

• Lead construction activities including design coordination, installation oversight, and system integration for production facilities
• Oversee installation of stainless steel process piping, vessels, and equipment requiring pharmaceutical-grade finishes and validation-ready construction standards
• Coordinate with process engineers and validation teams to ensure EU GMP requirements are met
• Supervise construction of controlled environment systems
• Manage contractor performance for specialized installations
• Ensure construction compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards
• Coordinate commissioning activities

• Experience in pharmaceutical construction projects (media preparation, sterile processing, or bioprocessing facilities experience advantageous)
• Strong knowledge of EU GMP requirements.
• Understanding of construction regulations, pharma facility licensing requirements, and European regulatory compliance standards
• Proven track record managing complex technical packages in sterile manufacturing environments with validation and regulatory oversight
• Proficiency in English (plus Dutch and/or French languages desireable)
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline
