Senior EHS Specialist

Context

Within ASML Veldhoven the Manufacturing Services (MfS.) organization provides critical services like Logistics’, Wafer production, and Training to the on-site factories.

The MfS EHS department supports the 1000 employees and 200 on site contractors of this organisation in Safety, Environmental and Health issues and is looking to extend the team with a Sr EHS expert

Role and Responsibilities

The Senior EHS expert within the Manufacturing Service organization:

• Provides expertise & support in EHS activities.
• Contributes to incident management
• Leads high risk incident investigations (Kelvin Topset)
• Conducts Risk analysis (Ri&E, JHA)
• Co-develops the safety roadmap to Increases the Safety culture and performance.
• works within a team of 5 Safety and 1 environmental experts.

In the rapidly growing and fast changing landscape of ASML, the senior EHS expert needs to adapt continuously, work independent, has a good verbal communication in English and Dutch language.

You frequently interact with Sr management, line managers and employees, the global EHS organization and D&E safety,

Education and experience

Safety is your passion and with your skills, especially leadership and communication skills, you know how to get things done.

You are in possession of a Master/Bachelor’s degree and a Safety Education (HVK, Nebosch);

You have knowledge of ISO standards (ISO14001/45001) and other safety management systems.

You have knowledge of applicable local laws and regulations and good analytical problem-solving skills.

You are a strong communicator, open, honest and respectful in your communication with others

You have minimum 8 years’ experience in a Manufacturing or logistical organization

Other information

The EHS expert reports to the Manager MfS Safety.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
