Are you a Senior Mechanical Engineer looking for your next contract with a busy, award winning company?
We are looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer based at our XXX office. You will get the opportunity to work on a range of projects, from conceptual stage through to detailed design, commissioning and qualification.

Responsibilities
As Senior Mechanical Engineer you would be responsible for:-
- Coordination of Mechanical Design Team to achieve project deliverables
- Technical input and support for Mechanical Design Team
- Coordination of design with other design disciplines and equipment suppliers
- Ownership of equipment modules and packages through design and procurement phases
- Completion of Design Risk Assessments
- Participation in Technical and Safety reviews
- Interfacing with Client Design Team/end users
- Mechanical optimization/site support
- Delivery of agreed design scope within budget hours and schedule
- Prepare Scope of Work Documentation
- Prepare Mechanical Project Specifications
- Cost / man hour estimation
- Handover of O&M manuals to Client
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:-
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Engineers with a primary degree in Chemical/Process Engineering and relevant process experience may also be considered)
- Substantial experience in the Pharmaceutical, Mission Critical or Biopharmaceutical sectors
- Self-starter, experience in leading a design team and in coordinating the efforts of others
- Good communication skills (ability to lead Technical and Safety reviews
- Chartered status desirable
