As a Scrum Master within the AI ecosystem, you enable teams to perform at their best. You provide structure, foster collaboration and encourage continuous learning. Your role is pivotal in an environment where AI governance, responsible deployment and AI knowledge development come together.

In this role, you will

• Guide AI-focused teams in applying Scrum effectively, ensuring solutions move in a clear and consistent way from concept through to operational management
• Strengthen collaboration between data specialists, engineers, architects, product owners, governance and ethics experts, and business stakeholders
• Create a psychologically safe environment where impediments are identified early and resolved, keeping sprint objectives achievable
• Support organisational agility by continuously improving processes, mindset, focus and team maturity
• Act as an advocate for Scrum and contribute to building an organisation where AI is developed in an innovative yet controlled way

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and safeguard the Scrum framework
• Coach team members in Agile and Scrum practices
• Support the Product Owner in structuring, refining and prioritising the backlog
• Coordinate dependencies with other teams, Scrum Masters and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, product quality and team effectiveness
• Use metrics and insights to support team reflection, learning and forecasting
• Monitor flow and cadence to ensure AI solutions evolve in a scalable, sustainable and controlled manner

Requirements

• HBO-level working and thinking capacity
• Proven knowledge of and experience with Agile/Scrum; familiarity with SAFe is an advantage
• A coaching, open and connective working style
• Ability to support teams in collaboration, rhythm, focus and continuous improvement
• Sensitivity to differing perspectives, disciplines and interests
• Strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset and a results-driven approach

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with AI or data-driven teams
• Understanding of ethical, legal and/or privacy considerations related to AI
• Experience in organisational change or transformation initiatives
• Affinity with social impact and public value
