Product Owner

Qooling is a Quality and Safety Platform, supporting companies in over 15 countries. The Qooling platform helps organizations structure their Quality and Safety on a single Platform. This centralized solution provides them with a single point of access when it comes to their Quality and Safety, allowing them to be compliant with all kinds of national and international standards.

Due to the fast growth of Qooling, the Product Team is expanding as well. As Product Owner at Qooling, you are responsible for the daily development operations and the primary contact within the company regarding product development. You are expected to be the main driver of the functional projects and set priorities based on the interests of multiple stakeholders. Besides the operational side of the PM role, you are expected to be in close contact with the Customer Team to make sure the right features are built. Within Qooling, the Shaping Up Methodology is utilized. You will also be the go-to person when it comes to Scoping projects.

A Day in the Life of a PO

A general day could look something like this. You start the day with a Kick-off. After you will look at the incoming bugs/feature requests and classify them. When the bugs have been classified, you work on the upcoming projects that might be built in the Next Project. This is where you will need to talk to the Product Specialist and CS to get a feeling and talk with some customers. At the end of the day, you take some time to think about the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Scoping of functional projects
• Keeping track of the daily progress of development
• Checking tickets for acceptance (both at the functional and basic QC level)
• Writing product updates and coordinating them with Marketing
• Writing product documentation

Qualifications

• Experience in Product Management and Project Management ( +3 years)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Dutch and English language
• Detail-oriented and analytical
• Customer-oriented
• Strong and Clear decision-making
• Eagerness to learn
