What the day will look like

As part of an industry-leading Global Benefits team, you will support multinational clients in optimizing their People Risk strategy, with a strong focus on Employee Benefits captives. Your work combines technical underwriting expertise with close collaboration across regions and subject areas.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering underwriting advisory services to EMEA-based multinational clients, under the mentorship of the Global Head of Underwriting.

• Supporting the implementation of the Captive EB Services advisory strategy.

• Working closely with client account management teams to ensure timely, high-quality underwriting advice.

• Preparing and communicating policy underwriting proposals to Risk and Insurance Managers.

• Collaborating with other Regional Employee Benefits Risk Underwriters to share guidelines and drive consistency.

• Collaborating closely with Employee Benefits providers to discuss underwriting-related topics.

• Reviewing reinsurance financial documents and validating them against captive underwriting reports.

• Working towards achieving net positive financial settlements for clients’ captive portfolios.

• Building strong internal networks across Aon and developing external industry relationships.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Proven technical understanding of insurance financial reporting; experience in Employee Benefits underwriting is a strong advantage.

• Experience in insurance, finance, actuarial, or a related field.

• Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis.

• High proficiency in Excel.

• Proficiency in English; additional languages and international experience are a plus.

Education : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, or Master’s degree or matching experience in Economics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics.
