Electrical & Instrumentation Operator within
Eni Energy Netherlands B.V . You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our offshore production facilities, covering our satellites and main complexes. Your work will involve overseeing gas separation, drying, and compression processes, primarily managed from the central control room as well as taking proactive measures to maintain uninterrupted production, often in coordination with the Team Leader. In your role as technician, you will handle tasks related to electrical energy systems, high-voltage installations and instrumentation control across various platforms. You will also work with specialised electronic measuring and calibration equipment, and can rely on the Team Leader for guidance and support from onshore engineers and external experts.

Main responsibilities : - Ensure and safeguard uninterrupted production on the satellite (separation, drying, compression) in line with applicable specifications.
- Monitor the progress and quality of the production process via process control panels, alarm signals and visual observations.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and troubleshooting in the E&I domain, carrying out all maintenance in line with protocols, guidelines and the planned schedule.
- Run start-ups and test runs of any malfunctions and repairs, operating, setting and adjusting equipment as required.
- Ensure all tasks are performed safely via the use of the safe work permit system, ensuring compliance and adherence to all rules and protocols and taking any appropriate corrective or preventative measures to eliminate or minimize risks. This also includes supervising third parties working on the satellite.
- Track data including production data, work performed, time taken, materials used, ensuring reliability and completeness of all logs.
- Take samples and performing standard testing.
- Ensure timeliness of all logging issues, maintenance, repairs, checks, and inspections, keeping a close collaboration with the OIM/Team Leader.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations concerning safety (including electrical work), occupational health (Arbo), environmental standards, the mining act, and operational procedures.
Skills and experience required : - Minimum MBO level 3 / 4 or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Electronics, Engineering, Process Control, Energy Technology).
- Prior experience as an operator in the petrochemical industry.
- Experience with energy generation, process control engineering and electro-technical installations.
- Experience with DCS systems, PLCs, ESD systems and fire/gas detection systems.
- Strong professional level of Dutch and English (B2)
