EHS Advisor

We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our pharmaceutical construction project team in Geel. This role will ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout the construction phase of our new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

• Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs for construction activities
• Conduct daily safety inspections and risk assessments on construction sites
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for construction crews
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project management teams
• Maintain safety documentation and reporting systems
• Monitor environmental compliance including waste management and air quality
• Provide guidance on pharmaceutical industry-specific construction requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HSE related field
• 5+ years of EHS experience in construction environments
• 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industry construction
• Strong knowledge of GMP requirements for facility construction
• Experience with hazardous materials handling and containment systems
• Excellent communication and training skills
• Proficiency in EHS management software and reporting tools

• Professional EHS certifications
• Experience with cleanroom construction and validation
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical process equipment installation
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical construction standards
