Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced CSA Owner's Representative to oversee a large-scale hyperscale data center construction project. This critical role will serve as our primary technical representative, ensuring project delivery meets our exacting standards for mission-critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Represent owner interests throughout all phases of construction, from design development through commissioning
- Technical Review: Evaluate and approve civil, structural, and architectural designs, specifications, and construction methodologies
- Quality Assurance: Monitor construction quality, compliance with specifications, and adherence to industry best practices
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential technical, schedule, and cost risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Stakeholder Coordination: Interface with design teams, general contractors, specialty trades, and internal stakeholders
- Change Management: Review and assess proposed changes, providing technical recommendations and cost impact analysis
- Progress Monitoring: Track construction progress against schedule milestones and quality benchmarks
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project records, reports, and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Degree level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
- Additional Professional Qualifications in Engineering or Construction/Project Management desirable
- At least 10 years' experience in the management of multi-disciplinary construction teams.
- Experience in Construction delivery within specialised industrial sectors including, for example Mission Critical & Data-Centres.
- Experience in the promoting and ensuring exemplary standards of health and safety on large-scale construction projects.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
