We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to help build a state-of-the-art cloud platform at Xccelerated. Are you an engineer with experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and scalability? With this specific project our client is embarking on a significant digital transformation to enhance their data-driven capabilities. Together we are building a secure, high-performing, and scalable cloud platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support their data ecosystem. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing this platform to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization.

The Xccelerated Program

• You work 4 days per week as a Cloud Engineer at one of our partner organizations, contributing directly to production-grade platforms and cloud transformations.
• Every Friday is dedicated to your growth: advanced training, deep dives, and hands-on project support from experienced Tech Leads who actively work in the field.
• This combination of real client work and continuous guidance enables you to accelerate faster, build confidence, and sharpen your engineering skills beyond what a standard role offers.
• After successfully completing the first year, you transition into a direct employment with the client, fully prepared to take ownership and make impact.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will :

• Design and implement cloud solutions, data pipelines, and integration patterns within the GCP environment.
• Manage and optimize cloud data platforms, including storage and processing systems like BigQuery, CloudSQL, Dataflow, DBT, and Cloud Storage.
• Monitor and enhance the performance, security, and cost-efficiency of cloud infrastructure and data platforms.
• Automate processes and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Support and advise development teams on cloud-related queries and onboard new projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices within Google Cloud.

This is you

• A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud security best practices
