WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO AS ASSISTANT WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR?

You are going to manage the operational warehouse team daily to process the orders! A role in which you can make a difference. And it's up to you to make it! How are you going to do that? By dividing the work in your team. The dynamics are great – it is never a dull moment! You have people skills to ensure that your team develops and is happy at work. And a helicopter view to keep the overview.

You will coordinate the operational warehouse team daily and monitor its progress! Within the team you divide the work and you investigate problems that arise. The Warehouse Supervisor will get supported by you in capacity needs and personnel planning. You also coach your team in their development and provide input to the Warehouse Supervisor for performance development. The warehouse and resources are used in the right way and with your way-of-thinking you see opportunities for improvements in the logistics processes! Finally, you ensure that everyone enjoys going to work.

As Assistant Warehouse Supervisor you are going to do the following tasks:

• Managing and coordinating your warehouse team on a daily basis;
• Coaching the team in their development;
• Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor in personnel planning and performance development;
• Initiate improvements in the logistics processes;

WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO WORK?

You will work at our location in Venray, where there is a warehouse of 42,000 m2. There you will manage a team of 10 till 20 employees and you will do this in shifts. Of course you don't do this alone! In addition to your warehouse team, you often work together with other Assistant Warehouse Supervisors and the Warehouse Supervisor, to whom you report. The atmosphere can be characterized as driven and professional, where there is certainly room for fun and connection! Together you want to provide the best logistics service to the customer.

WHY IS THIS ROLE SOMETHING FOR YOU?

Do you recognize yourself in the following qualities?

• Proven experience in logistics or warehouse operations (mandatory);
• Strong understanding of operational processes and workflow management;
• Flexibility to work alternating shifts between 06:00–15:00 and 09:00–18:00;
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational needs;
• Lean‑thinking mentality with a focus on efficiency, waste reduction, and process improvement;
• SAP knowledge or experience (considered a strong plus);
• Experience in leading or coordinating small teams;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; and
• Problem solving mindset with attention to detail.

• A gross monthly salary between € 2.670 and € 3.471 plus 8% holiday pay (classification depending on, among other things, your work experience and level of education);
