Sr. IT Applications Engineer | SAP Add-on XFT

Are you a specialist in the SAP Add-on XFT? We are looking for a senior XFT specialist with a strong go-getter mentality including willingness to perform hands-on activities, who can be the link between the business and IT.

Role and Responsibilities            

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our IT team, transforming business requirements into effective, high-quality solutions. You’ll partner closely with business teams, helping them streamline processes, improve efficiency, and implement IT solutions that align with SAP and XFT best practices.

You will be a key player within our Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), working mainly in the IT Agile Release Train (ART) Digital Asset Management. Your expertise will be critical in challenging business teams to stay close to SAP and XFT standards while aligning with ASML’s architecture goals. You’ll guide business stakeholders through process improvements and functional designs. You'll also play a pivotal role in testing, training, and supporting colleagues in configurations in SAP and XFT solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and refine their requirements, ensuring they align with standard IT solutions rather than custom builds;
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and contribute to architectural roadmaps;
• Customize and test solutions, focusing on SAP and SAP add-on XFT, particularly in the area of assets and the integration with related systems and modules;
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Product Owners to define epics, features, and user stories, ensuring smooth delivery;
• Lead process improvements by guiding business teams in optimizing workflows;
• Support the Scrum Master and Product Owner in managing dependencies with other teams and ARTs;
• Provide hands-on support during testing (unit tests, SIT, UAT) and documentation;
• Train key users and Subject Matter Experts, sharing your knowledge and ensuring smooth transitions to the new system;
• Offer ongoing support during post-implementation and hyper care stages.

Education and experience

A Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Over 7 – 10 years’ experience in the SAP add-on XFT modules: Asset related dossier solutions, XFT Document Composer, XFT Sales Manager and XFT invoice Manager;
• Proven ability to design and implement the SAP XFT add-ons into business processes;
• Experience with asset management / configuration management in an SAP environment (SAP-ECC, SAP S4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP BNAC);
• Experience with high-level SAP inbound invoice and sales processes is a pré;
• A customer-focused, results-driven mindset with excellent communication skills in English;
• A proactive team player who thrives in high-pressure environments and demonstrates strong consultancy skills;
• The ability to influence and manage relationships across various teams, while staying focused on achieving standard solutions;
• Experience with Keep The Core Clean Concept of SAP is a pré.
