Pushing the horizons of mobility requires a visionary who knows how to connect strategic expertise with international market opportunities. In this role, you take charge of our business portfolio within the Mobility & Built Environment unit, ensuring the safe introduction of automated vehicles through high-impact programs. Your strategic insights will not only close essential transactions but will also propel the development of Safe and Efficient Mobility to a global level.

As a Senior Business Developer Automated Driving, you are the driving force behind our national and international business portfolio and order intake. You operate at the intersection of technology and commerce, focusing primarily on the development and safe introduction of automated vehicles.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Strategic Acquisition: You lead the construction of new leads and the acquisition of strategic projects that contribute to safer mobility.
• Partnership Development: You build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic companies and stakeholders.
• Innovative Propositions: You (co-)develop cutting-edge propositions that meet current market challenges in connected and automated driving technologies.
• Collaboration: You team up with program managers and world-class experts in Integrated Vehicles Safety, sensor fusion, and AI-enabled systems.

In this position, you report directly to the Director of Mobility and play a key role in the business development team of our Mobility & Built Environment unit.

To excel as our Senior Business Developer Automated Driving, you must bring the following hard criteria:

• A university (Master) degree in a technical field.
• Over 10 years of proven track record in a commercial management role focused on strategic business and partnership development.
• In-depth market knowledge of cooperative and automated driving technologies.
• Direct experience with sensor fusion, vehicle control, connectivity, and active safety systems.
• Proven awareness of safety architecture standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ISO/PAS 21448).
• Fluency in both English and Dutch.
• Willingness to travel for international business opportunities
