As a part-time purchaser/buyer, you are responsible for selecting and purchasing technical products for various applications, particularly in the aviation industry. You work 16 to 20 hours per week. The days and/or parts of the day can be arranged in consultation. You will be working in an international organization. The working language is English, which you must be proficient in both spoken and written. This vacancy is initially for approximately 1.5 years. You will partially replace the current purchasing colleague because they are performing those tasks for another department.

You start your workday by reviewing the procurement needs and coordinating with internal departments such as production and logistics. You maintain contact with suppliers, request quotes, and compare prices and conditions. Preparing purchase orders and monitoring delivery times are part of your daily tasks. Furthermore, you ensure that the administration related to the procurement process is kept accurate and that you stay informed about market developments.

Wat wij vragen

• Minimum mbo (secondary vocational education) working and thinking level
• 2 to 10 years of experience as a purchaser
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Affinity with technology and technical products
• Experience in an international environment is a plus
