Over de functie

As a Production Employee at Caretex, you become a vital part of the laundry process that ensures hospitality, leisure, and business clients across the Netherlands receive the highest quality linens. Your primary focus will be on the towel division, where your attention to detail and commitment to quality make a real difference every day. You’ll work with modern machinery and a dedicated team to process large quantities of towels, ensuring each item meets our strict standards for cleanliness and presentation. This role involves standing and manual handling, making it perfect for someone who enjoys staying active throughout the workday. You’ll also have the potential to take on extra responsibilities and grow into a leadership position if you show initiative and reliability.

On a typical day, you’ll begin your shift by preparing towels for the machines—this could include separating, inspecting, and sometimes attaching elastics for optimal processing. As the towels move through the industrial washers and dryers, you will monitor the process, troubleshoot minor issues, and keep the workflow moving smoothly. After washing, you’ll help guide the towels through rolling machines, perform quality checks, and organize finished products for shipment to our clients. Collaboration is key, as you’ll coordinate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets. You may rotate between stations to keep things interesting and to develop a wide range of production skills. The role offers a blend of routine and variety, keeping you engaged and motivated.

• 5,33 End of year bonus
• 27 to 36 hours of work per week, based on your availability

• Ability to work standing and perform physical tasks throughout your shift
• Available for shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Preferably available for 36 hours per week; 27 hours is negotiable
• Proficient in English or Dutch (spoken)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Willing to take initiative and learn new processes
• Open to working during the busy summer period (weeks 28 to 33)
• All experience levels are welcome, from entry-level to senior
