Wat je gaat doen

Your morning starts at the DHL Express depot in Nieuw-Vennep. You greet your colleagues, pick up your hand scanner and walk to your van. You check the vehicle, then load every parcel safely and in a logical order. You look at your mostly fixed route and see familiar streets appear. With your navigation set, you drive out of the depot and start your day on the road.

During the day you follow the navigation through your region. You stop at each address, lift and carry the parcels, and deliver or pick them up on time. At every door you greet customers in a friendly way and answer simple questions. You handle signatures and make sure each delivery is neat and safe. In your van you keep your administration up to date with the hand scanner, while you follow all safety and traffic rules. Later in the afternoon you drive the last part of your route, then return to the depot. You hand in your scanner, have a short chat with colleagues, and feel satisfied about the customers you helped today. Then you head home, ready to enjoy your free time.

• Earn €16.60 per hour plus an additional 6.24% flex budget on top of your salary.
• Choose whether you receive your salary weekly or every four weeks, whatever fits your planning best.
• Work a flexible 24–32 hour week with shifts scheduled between 08:00 and 19:00.
• Build up 8% holiday allowance, so you can enjoy your time off with extra financial comfort.
• Receive €0.23 per kilometer travel allowance for your commute to Nieuw-Vennep. 
• Start with a temporary contract, with the prospect of a permanent one when it suits both sides.

Wat we van je vragen

• Je hebt a valid B driving licence for minimum two years.
• Je bent comfortable lifting and carrying packages all day.
• Je bent available at least three days per week.
• Je hebt good spoken Dutch or English communication skills.
