Operations / Support Manager

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilledOperations and Support Managerto lead day-to-day support operations across our enterprise technology stack. This role is responsible for managing and resolving trouble tickets responding to customer requests and ensuring the stability and performance of systems includingPL/SQL ApplicationsOracleMongoDBControl-M job schedulingWindows and Unix patch managementandAzure Cloud management. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality support and continuous service improvement.

Day to Day:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support related to PL/SQL Oracle MongoDB Control-M and Azure environments.
• Monitor and respond to incoming trouble tickets ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PL/SQL code database performance job scheduling and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage and optimize Control-M job flows including job failures dependencies and performance bottlenecks.
• Provide operational support for Oracle and MongoDB databases including backups restores and performance tuning.
• Maintain and monitor Azure cloud resources ensuring availability cost-efficiency and compliance.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Document support procedures resolutions and system configurations for knowledge sharing and audit purposes.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions or automation opportunities.

Essentials:

• 5 yearsof experience in PL/SQL development and Oracle database support.
• Hands-on experience withControl-Mjob scheduling and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge ofMongoDBadministration and support.
• Experience managing and supportingAzure cloud servicesin a production environment.
• Proven ability to manage and resolve technical support tickets efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience working a differentiator.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
• Certifications in Oracle MongoDB Azure or ITIL are a plus.
• Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow Jira Service Desk).
• Familiarity with Agile or DevOps support environments.
