Mechanical Package Owner (HVAC) - Pharma Construction

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Package Owner specializing in HVAC systems to serve as the central point of accountability for all HVAC and air handling packages on our pharmaceutical construction project in Belgium. This role manages the complete lifecycle of critical HVAC systems from design through commissioning.

• Serve as single point of accountability for HVAC packages including air handling units, cleanroom HVAC, process ventilation, and temperature control systems
• Direct firms for HVAC design packages and specifications
• Coordinate procurement of air handling equipment, ductwork, controls, and filtration systems
• Manage FAT and SAT for HVAC equipment
• Oversee CQV of cleanroom environments and air systems
• Report to Project Director with updates on HVAC-related risks, issues, and milestones
• Interface with clients, consultants, HVAC contractors, and regulatory authorities
• Ensure compliance with EU GMP, Belgian building codes, and pharmaceutical air quality standards

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent international safety certification
• 10+ years HSE management experience in construction/industrial projects
• Proven experience with pharmaceutical/cleanroom construction safety requirements
• Deep knowledge of Belgian workplace safety regulations and standards
• Experience with confined space, working at height, and lifting operations safety
• Understanding of environmental regulations and waste management protocols
• Strong ability to influence safety culture across diverse contractor teams
• Experience training and mentoring safety representatives
• Proven track record achieving excellent safety performance on major project
• IOSH membership or similar professional body affiliation
• Fluency in Dutch advantageous
