TransPak is a leading packaging solutions provider specializing in the design and manufacturing of advanced packaging solutions for Semiconductor manufacturing equipment. We are seeking a talented manufacturing engineer to join our global team. In this role you will play a pivotal role in the efficient and effective manufacturing of packaging designs for ASML in our factories in the United States, Taiwan, Korea, China, Malaysia and The Netherlands with woodworkshops, cleanroom bag conversion and cleanroom assembly capabilities. This role concerns a position in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Cost calculation: Transform collected data from sourcing and work preparation activities into actionable insights that contribute to a competitive cost price, playing a pivotal role in driving Transpak’s sales success.
• Sourcing and work preparation: Develop and implement strategies for the manufacturing of ASML packaging designs. Determine the most efficient and cost-effective methods for production. Evaluate and decide which components or activities should be outsourced and collaborate with sourcing to select appropriate vendors. Document and log the manufacturing strategy in the company's ERP system as Part numbers and manufacturing BOM.
• Packaging Concepts & Supply Chain Integration: Collaborate with customers to optimize and evolve their packaging concepts for improved compatibility with global industrial supply chains, while promoting localized manufacturing strategies across key regions including the United States, Korea, China, Taiwan, and the Netherlands.
• Project leadership: Take the lead in projects implementing new manufacturing technology or logistical and packaging processes. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Packaging, or related field.
• Prior experience in industrial packaging for European semicon manufacturing equipment market is mandatory.
• Demonstrate expertise in materials relevant to packaging, including plywood, lumber, foam, corrugated, general construction plastics, aluminium, and stainless steel.
• Prior experience with cleanroom cleaning and assembly is highly preferred.
• Experience with Solidworks software is preferred.
• 2+ years experience in a similar role/ position

Pay range and compensation package

• Salary between Euro 3,300 up to Euro 5,000 gross (based on a fulltime positon, 40 hours per week)
• CLA woodworking is applicable (CAO Houtverwerkende Industrie)
• Pension plan (BPFV)
