Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laboratory Buffer Preparation & Packaging Associate to support laboratory and logistics operations. 🧬

The role involves preparing buffers according to established protocols, accurately labeling products and packaging them for storage or shipment while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Buffer Preparation

• Prepare laboratory buffers and solutions according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Measure, mix and adjust solutions accurately using laboratory equipment

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment

• Record preparation details and batch information accurately

Labeling

• Label buffers and materials clearly and accurately according to regulatory and internal requirements

• Verify labels for correctness (content, concentration, date, batch number, expiration)

• Ensure traceability and documentation compliance Packaging & Logistics Support

• Package prepared buffers safely for internal use, storage or shipment

• Ensure packaging meets quality, safety and transport requirements

• Assist with inventory tracking and stock management

• Coordinate with logistics or warehouse teams as needed

Quality & Safety

• Follow laboratory safety guidelines and company policies at all times

• Report deviations, errors, or equipment issues promptly

• Support quality control and audit processes when required

Qualifications & Skills

• At least in possession of a MBO degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or comparable education

• Fluent command of the Dutch and English language is mandatory

• Good working knowledge in ERP System, Excel, Word as well as standard IT applications

• Previous experience in a laboratory, production, or logistics environment is an advantage

• Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and safety practices

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good organizational and time-management skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 20 kg
