The role

As a Java Software Developer, you work on the world’s leading motorsport results platform:

Speedhive (Speedhive Event Results) .

With a 4.5-star rated app and millions of active users worldwide, Speedhive operates at serious scale. It’s the platform where racers analyze their performance and fans follow live events and their favorite drivers. This all in real time. From car racing and motorcycle racing to RC racing and many other disciplines: your work supports motorsport at every level.

What You'll Do

Our Software Development team works on the Speedhive, web, iOS and Android apps. You will be responsible for the backend part that services these apps and the website (Vue.JS).

In this multidisciplinary team you will find colleagues with specializations in IOS, Android and Web development, as well as a QA Engineer working closely together with our Product Owner. As a team we are continuously working on the maintenance of the apps, but also working on new feature implementations and development.

The new development is done in Java / springboot and we are gradually phasing out a .NET solution.

What You Bring

🎯 4+ Years of Software Development experience with Java and preferably Springboot.

🎯 Since we are gradually phasing out our old .NET solution, .NET / C# experience is seen as a plus.

🗣 Strong (technical) communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)

👌Passion for technology and motorsport

👌 Cloud experience, preferably Azure, is a bonus.
