Your Role 

As a Service Engineer at Hydraloop, you are the go-to expert for our international partners, installers and customers. You will guide installations, perform commissioning and maintenance, resolve technical issues, and advise on how to integrate our technology into various building projects. You’ll also support sales processes and provide technical training – and yes, international travel is part of the job. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Performing and supervising installations, commissioning, and maintenance worldwide 

• Configuring and monitoring Hydraloop systems on-site or remotely 

• Provide technical support to installers and customers (remote and on-site) 

• Consult on the integration of water recycling systems in residential and commercial buildings 

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, and suggest improvements 

• Deliver technical training to partners and installers 

• Assist with commercial activities during pre-sales and post-sales phases 

Your Profile 

• Education in a technical field (e.g. mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or other installation engineering) 

• Hands-on experience with service, maintenance or technical installation 

• Familiarity with construction processes and sustainable technologies 

• Experience with IoT systems and working with web interfaces for configuration and support. 

• Skilled in working reading and interpreting plumbing schematics and MEP installation drawings in construction projects 

• Strong communication skills in English (Dutch and other languages are a plus) 

• Flexibility to travel internationally 30–50% from our Leeuwarden headquarters 

• Self-driven, customer-oriented and solution-focused 

• Able to support commercial conversations and partner engagement 

• In possession of a passport that allows global travel (EU, UK, Canada, Singapore or equivalent) 

• Driver’s license
