+ The Role

As Financial Controller, you are fully responsible for the financial foundation of ComplianceWise. You ensure accurate and reliable reporting, while translating financial data into clear insights that support strategic decision-making.

You will:

• Own financial control and reporting
• Strengthen forecasting and planning processes
• Provide strategic insights to leadership
• Further professionalize finance processes and systems

Operational administration is organized and supported. Your primary focus will be on control, analysis, structure and forward-looking financial leadership.

You report directly to the COO and work closely with a fractional CFO and the leadership team.

+ What You Will Do

Financial Control & Reporting

• Own month-end closing and consolidated reporting
• Deliver clear P&L, balance sheet and cash flow insights
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Monitor liquidity and proactively manage financial risks
• Coordinate with accountants, auditors and financial partners

Business Control & Strategic Insight

• Translate financial data into actionable business insights
• Act as a sparring partner to leadership on financial decisions
• Identify risks and growth opportunities early
• Support performance management across teams

Process & Optimization

• Improve and future-proof finance processes
• Enhance reporting dashboards and KPI visibility
• Contribute to scalable financial structures supporting international growth

You are structured, analytical and comfortable taking ownership.

You enjoy improving systems and building clarity where things are still evolving.

• Relevant Financial experience
• Familiar with consolidated group structures
• Understanding of the Dutch financial landscape
• Comfortable translating financial topics to non-financial stakeholders
