The Opportunity:

Avantor Fluid Handling is seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Hillegom.

With Avantor Fluid Handling youll be part of Europes leading distributor of laboratory products. As a Customer Service Representative youll develop within a dynamic industry while strengthening customer relationships and enhancing the service this role you will be the key link between Avantor and its Biopharma customers building and maintaining strong partnerships. Youll work in a skilled collaborative team and engage closely with colleagues across purchasing logistics to ensure smooth support for our customers.

What were looking for

• Education : MBO/ Bachelors degree in Administration or similar field
• Experience: Several years of applicable experience in a customer service role
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Good organization and time management skills
• Strong communication skills in English and good level of Dutch is required
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite including MS Excel
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system is a plus
• Good business understanding and ability to grasp company processes and routines
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys multitasking and problem solving
• Motivated to learn curious and engaged
• Solid collaboration skills and a positive attitude

• Owns the customer request and experience from initiation to conclusion
• Manage inbound customer communication regarding service status orders and issues
• Coordinate and expedite customer orders ensuring timely resolution of challenges and accurate documentation
• Oversee the order processing from initial entry through to final shipping guaranteeing smooth and efficient processing
• Maintain comprehensive records and documentation to uphold operational efficiency compliance standards and organizational integrity.
