• Cloud Architecture Design: Design and develop highly available, scalable, and cost-effective cloud-native solutions on platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Application Modernization & Re-architecting: Re-architect and rebuild legacy applications onto modern tech stacks, including microservices architecture.
• System Design & Development: Design and develop complex, highly available, and scalable applications for various domains (sports, market research, finance, telecom).
• Technical & Functional Requirements Analysis: Analyze technical and functional requirements to create innovative solutions for complex business problems.
• Cloud Migration Strategy: Develop and implement cloud migration strategies, including resource planning and execution plans.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and implement IaC for hosting application infrastructure on cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
• Integration Architecture: Design and develop integration layers to connect with third-party services and internal systems.
• Event-Driven Architecture: Design and implement event-based solutions and leverage event hubs/grids.
• Data Protection & Compliance: Design solutions that adhere to stringent data protection regulations.
• Manage relationships with customers and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.

• At least 5 years of experience in an enterprise, system or solution architecture role. Proven ability to design highly available, scalable, and secure application architectures, including system and deployment designs.
• Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding and practical experience with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and their services (App Services, Functions, Event Hub, Event Grid, EKS, MSK, AWS-China).
• DevSecOps & IaC: Strong experience in implementing DevSecOps pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Migration & Modernization: Demonstrated success in cloud migrations, application modernization, and refactoring legacy systems.
• Security & Authentication: Experience with identity management solutions (Microsoft Entra ID, OIDC, OAuth) and implementing secure authentication mechanisms.
• Integration & Data: Skills in developing integration layers, working with messaging systems (e.g. Kafka), and handling data protection regulations.
• Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g. .NET, Angular, Python) and scripting for automation.

A temp-to-perm, hybrid role in The Hague area, with a competitive salary of €8000-€10.000 gross per month. Initially, you will get a flex contract via Independent Recruiters with a possibility to be taken over by the client after a period of time that will be agreed upon.
