Accounting & Controlling Specialist

Location: Venlo, NL (onsite with occasional WFH)

For our Venlo office, we are seeking a versatile Finance All‑Rounder to take ownership of the complex accounting responsibilities for our Product Quality Assurance (PQA) division. PQA operates primarily in the food and pharmaceutical sectors, providing advanced x‑ray inspection, checkweigher, and metal detection technologies that help manufacturers elevate and safeguard product quality.

This role plays a key part in both our accounting operations and overall office administration. Responsibilities include daily bookkeeping, support for monthly and annual closings, accounts receivable and credit control, cash flow management, and coordination with external accounting and audit firms. In addition, the role covers general office administration such as reception support, supply management, internal workflow assistance, expatriate support, and coordination of company events. We are looking for someone who is comfortable managing a broad range of responsibilities and can communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Experience with SAP or Salesforce (SFDC) is highly preferred.

Main responsibilities and duties:

Finance

• Daily/monthly bookkeeping, including journal entries and ledger management
• Invoice processing and payment execution
• Accounts receivable management and credit control for business partners
• Monthly financial reporting, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow updates
• Preparation of annual financial reports in collaboration with external accounting/audit firms
• Handling tax filings in coordination with external service providers
• Employee expense management and payroll-related data administration
• Support for profit forecasting and financial planning
• Cash flow monitoring and management
• VAT-related procedures for transactions with EU countries outside the Netherlands (handled through external providers)
• Support Managing Director with ad hoc financial, accounting and treasury advice

Administration support / General Affairs

• Handle issues arising from administration of the Venlo office
• Travel Management Support on ad hoc basis
• Expatriates support on ad hoc basis
