Job Description:

Educational Qualification:

• Graduation in any discipline (Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or Business preferred)
• Diploma / certification in Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, or Logistics is an added advantage
• Forklift certification is a plus (not mandatory)

Required Experience:

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations or inventory management
• Prior exposure to FMCG, food products, retail distribution, or import-based supply chains preferred
• Experience managing day-to-day warehouse execution with minimal supervision

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Take complete ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations across one or multiple locations
• Manage inward and outward movement of goods, ensuring accurate receiving from suppliers
• Maintain real-time, accurate inventory records and ensure physical stock matches system stock
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid stock-outs or overstocking
• Ensure strict adherence to FIFO / FEFO practices, especially for food and FMCG products

Coordinate closely with:

• Purchase team for inward planning and replenishment schedules
• Logistics team for dispatch planning, routing, and delivery timelines
• Sales / Operations teams for order readiness and priority dispatches
• Supervise warehouse staff, allocate daily tasks, and monitor productivity
• Maintain warehouse hygiene, safety standards, and statutory compliance
• Track damages, shortages, and expiry risks; proactively report issues for binning or corrective action
• Conduct regular cycle counts and stock reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy

Required Skills:

• Strong practical understanding of FMCG warehouse operations and inventory control
• Sound knowledge of stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy
• Ability to work cross-functionally with purchase, logistics, and sales teams
• Comfortable using Excel, inventory software, or WMS systems
• Basic understanding of logistics planning and dispatch coordination
• Hands-on, execution-driven approach with willingness to be on the warehouse floor
• High attention to detail, discipline, accountability, and process adherence
• Good communication skills in English (Dutch is an added advantage)
