Top Account Manager Packaging

Summary of the Role

The Top Account Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with key customers. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, driving sustainable revenue growth, and building long-term partnerships through technical expertise, value selling, and strategic account management.

Role and Responsibilities

• Maintain all packaging customers within designated customer base with aim to grow revenue year on year as per the company's "Nordson Business System (NBS) Next" guidelines & expectations
• Increase system population through pro-active value selling activities within new, existing & competitive accounts
• Work to recapitalize existing Nordson installed base through pro-active focus on customers with inefficient & obsolete equipment
• Introduce, promote & up-sell latest range of Nordson equipment to all customers
• Develop Aftermarket business with aim to grow spare parts revenue stream including maintenance contracts, training & engineering work
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance and Operations to promote Nordson solutions.

• Generate strong working relationships with adhesive suppliers & transfer knowledge

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful B2B field sales experience, preferably within industrial, capital equipment, manufacturing, or technical markets.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and grow customer accounts through strategic selling and relationship management.
• Strong commercial, technical, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Ability to work as part of a team but also independently, prioritize activities, and manage multiple projects in a structured and organized manner.
• Demonstrated flexibility in day to day duties and overnight stays when required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, CRM systems, and general business software tools
• Valid driver's license
• Fluent English and Dutch language skills are mandatory, French language skills are a plus
