As a Test & Verification Architect, you'll play a crucial role in designing, executing, and improving the verification strategy for both medical (70%) and non-medical (30%) hardware. You'll be responsible for achieving high-quality test coverage, preventing design errors, and delivering reliable evidence in accordance with strict regulations and standards. You have a leading and coaching role, working within multidisciplinary teams and a global TV&V network.

Your responsibilities

• Developing and ensuring the right hardware verification strategy with optimal test coverage
• Identifying and resolving issues during design verification, including root cause analysis and defect management
• Leading verification work packages within the T&V team
• Drawing up a schedule and monitoring the timely execution of verification activities
• Ensure high-quality verification evidence according to processes, regulations and relevant standards
• Provide technical expertise during design reviews and contribute to risk management
• Optimizing verification processes and increasing team effectiveness
• Building a strong international TV&V network
• Mentoring team members in test methods, test method validation, MSA, and test equipment management
• Stakeholder management within R&D, quality and project management
• Active collaboration within multidisciplinary teams

• A technical background, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or similar
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in design verification (preferably for medical devices)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in R&D or laboratory environment
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in the medical industry
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, hardware testing methodologies and medical device design & development
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as: FDA, ISO 13485, IEC‐standards, ISO 17025
• Experience with Design Control and test method development
• Experience with MSA, test method validation and statistical analysis techniques
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Analytically strong: data-driven, creative, solution-oriented
• Handy with Windchill and Minitab (pré)
• Flexible and team-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership
