Your Role

As a Test & Verification Architect , you play a key role in designing, executing, and improving the verification strategy for both medical (70%) and non‑medical (30%) hardware. You ensure high‑quality test coverage, prevent design errors, and deliver reliable evidence aligned with strict regulations and standards.

You take on both a leading and coaching role, working within multidisciplinary teams and a global T&V network.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and safeguard the hardware verification strategy with optimal test coverage
• Identify and resolve issues during design verification, including root cause analysis and defect management
• Lead verification work packages within the T&V team
• Create planning and ensure timely execution of verification activities
• Deliver high‑quality verification evidence in compliance with processes, regulations, and standards
• Provide technical expertise during design reviews and support risk management
• Optimize verification processes and increase team effectiveness
• Build a strong international T&V network
• Mentor team members in test methods, test method validation, MSA, and test equipment management
• Manage stakeholder expectations across R&D, Quality, and Project Management
• Collaborate actively within multidisciplinary teams

What You Bring

• A technical background, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field
• At least 3+ years of experience in design verification (preferably medical devices)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in an R&D or laboratory environment
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in the medical industry
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, hardware test methodologies, and medical device Design & Development
• In‑depth knowledge of regulations and standards such as:
• FDA, ISO 13485, IEC standards, ISO 17025
• Experience with Design Control and test method development
• Experience with MSA, test method validation, and statistical analysis techniques
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly analytical, data‑driven, creative, and solution‑oriented
• Experience with Windchill and Minitab (nice to have)
• Flexible, team‑oriented, and strong sense of ownership

Minimum Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or related fields.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience with a Master’s degree
• in areas such as System Architecture, System Design, Hardware Engineering, or similar.
