The Role of Technical and Improvement Manager
The company is seeking a highly technically technical engineer with broad knowledge and proven experience across engineering, maintenance and project delivery to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring a well-rounded technical background, enabling them to effectively support operational performance, drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the successful execution of engineering and capital projects.

Criteria of the Technical and Improvement Manager
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical and process engineering within a chemical manufacturing environment. They will demonstrate effective leadership and excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. As a member of the site’s senior leadership team, this role reports directly to the Site Factory Manager and plays a key role in shaping the site’s operational and technical direction.
A key focus of the position is to drive positive and sustainable change across operations, manufacturing and production. The role will lead initiatives that deliver both technical and strategic improvements, including supporting the introduction and scale-up of new products and enhancing overall site performance.
The successful candidate will also bring a proven track record of delivering and executing engineering and capital projects within high-hazard manufacturing environments, ensuring that improvements are implemented safely, efficiently and in line with operational objectives.
