The Opportunity Coravin is hiring a Regional Sales Manager, who will lead the business in Northern Europe.
The Position:
A dynamic opportunity covering Northern Europe including NORDICS (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland), Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, with responsibility for new business development and customer management on behalf of Coravin in this strategically important region.
-Working with key distributors, retailers, On Premise (HORECA), you will have the freedom to manage and grow existing partnerships and develop new ones.
- You will be responsible for growing distribution across channels in terms of breadth and depth against agreed targets that you will help shape and set.
-Develop the most efficient route to market, with a focus on profitability and revenue maximization.
-Cultivate and maintain preferred partnerships with key partners to increase support and open opportunities for Coravin to amplify its brand within their businesses.
-Attendance at trade shows and local events.
-Leverage the EU Marketing team to develop promotional plans that drive significant comparable year-on-year growth with efficient return on investment.
- Provide regular updates to Chief Commercial Officer on performance including maintenance of an accurate sales forecast.

- In depth experience with distributors, retailers, On (HORECA) and Off trade (wine stores), with an exceptional network of decision makers and industry leaders.
-Outstanding communication skills verbal and written

-Ability to anticipate challenges before they arise and propose appropriate solutions
-High energy, grit, results oriented, and determined to do all that is necessary to assist in the success of Coravin as a third party
-Data and insights driven, using the information to justify actions and investments
-Attention to detail with an orientation towards repeatable and efficient processes
-Mental agility enabling quick and decisive action when faced with challenging and potentially surprising circumstances.

Minimum requirements:
-5 years sales/business development experience, ideally including Nordics and other N. Europe markets
-Strong command of English language in a business setting
-Danish/Norwegian/Swedish or German languages a plus
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on business management, sales or marketing
-Established relationships within N. Europe wine trade
-Understanding and proficiency in Microsoft office, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
-Self-motivated, results oriented, self-directed, problem solver
-Home based with ideally 1-2 days week in the AMS office, and up to 25% of time expected to be in the field and travelling outside NL visiting clients and markets.
-Right to work in Netherlands
