As an optomechatronic control specialist in complex Space and Semiconductor projects you act as the point-of-contact for the control discipline within an opto-mechatronic project, sometimes functioning as the sole control specialist in a project, sometimes responsible for leading a team of 2-3 dynamics & control specialists and engineers in a project.

• Hold an MSc (PhD preferred) in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Control.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with high-tech mechatronic systems and a solid grasp of optical concepts.
• Proven expertise in opto-mechatronic system design, including linear system theory, controller design, and error budgeting.
• Apply frequency-domain analysis (Bode, Nyquist, spectral density) to relate control performance to mechanical properties and disturbances.
• Utilize dynamic modeling (lumped-mass and finite-element) for designing complex systems from scratch.
• Bridge the gap between design and experimental phases using dynamic system identification and data-driven performance evaluation.
• Exhibit a pioneering mentality, thriving in the uncertainty of high-stakes scientific and engineering challenges.
• Possess a highly cooperative mindset to collaborate with experts in system engineering, optics, and mechanics.
• Communicate with the energy and creativity needed to motivate colleagues and convince international customers.
