Maintenance Employee

YOUR ROLE

As a Maintenance Employee, you are responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and condition of the warehouse's machinery park. This includes packaging machines, sorting machines, conveyors, and other technical installations. In addition to your daily duties, you collaborate with colleagues from other internal departments on improvement projects.

In this role, you are part of the Technical Service department, a diverse and enthusiastic team working in a two-shift system. Alongside your colleagues, you ensure the execution and administrative handling of maintenance activities. You report to the Team Lead Maintenance. Your day will start in Tilburg and occasionally you will go to Waalwijk with our electric company bus.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Performing preventive maintenance in the areas of mechanical, electrical, and control engineering;
• Properly executing or outsourcing corrective maintenance, resolving malfunctions, and conducting periodic inspections;
• Providing support for projects and minor renovations;
• Contributing ideas for improvements to the machinery park and making specific proposals;
• Reporting on the progress of work and any notable occurrences in our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Ultimo;
• Guiding external technical specialists and managing the technical warehouse.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Preferbaly a completed vocational education (MBO) at level 4, preferably in the field of Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field;
• Relevant work experience in a similar role;
• You are a team player, an engaged individual who can work independently but also enjoys working in a team;
• Proficiency English and preferbaly Dutch;
• You are flexible in availability and willing to work full-time in 2 shifts.

• You will receive a monthly salary between € 2.655,06 and € 4.187,42 and 8% holiday allowance (grading depending on your work experience and education level);

Over the past year, the team has followed training courses in machine safety, electrical switching, fire alarm systems, PLC, industrial automation and NEN3140.
