For a rapidly expanding industry market leader located in the Arnhem / Nijmegen area we are looking for a Lead SAP SD Consultant or SAP SCM Consultant.

The job

As the Lead SAP SD Consultant you will be responsible for the SAP S/4HANA Landscape within the Benelux region.

You are able to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization and ensure efficient business operations and support the strategic objectives.

You will provide leadership and guidance in fostering a cohesive and high-performing team environment, besides bringing in organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and IT suppliers.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Manage the team of 8 SAP consultants.
• Oversee the management of the SAP S/4HANA system.
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the IT Competence Center aligned with the overall business objectives.
• Ensure successful project execution, meeting timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Facilitate regular communication with business leaders to provide updates on project status, system performance, and upcoming initiatives.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliverables, while managing expectations and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise.
• Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements to maximize the functionality of SAP applications.
• Monitor and manage the performance, availability, and stability of SAP systems and other applications.
• Proactively identify and address system issues, bottlenecks, and vulnerabilities to maintain a robust and secure SAP environment.
• Provide oversight and guidance for the SAP support team to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed, and documentation related to configurations, processes, and procedures are maintained.
• Ensure that SAP systems comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Your profile

• Strong in-depth functional knowledge and project experience in the SAP SD module;
• Experience in wholesale distribution, eCommerce or manufacturing domains are a plus;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels;
• Analytical, solution-oriented & result driven personality with the ability to see the bigger picture and have a sharp eye for detail;
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business management or related field;
• Leadership and team management capabilities;
• Knowledge on project management tools is a plus
