Purpose of the role:

As a Key Account Manager, you play the pivotal role of managing your portfolio of partners, focusing on wholesalers and installers, that will help Easee shape the future of electricity. You will be responsible for ensuring that your portfolio of customers has everything that they need to be as successful as they can be. You support them in their growth, contributing to the growth of Easee. You work with a team of Key Account Managers and together you ensure that we work with the best partners in the region.

With that, you will help Easee make a significant impact in the world and make energy scalable, affordable and available for as many people as possible.

Your responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing portfolio of clients, understand needs, and proactively offer solutions to enhance their sales performance. Make sure our partners and installers are set up for success and have a good understanding of our full product offering by organizing training sessions, frequent visits, business reviews and so on.
  • Business Development: Identify and target new potential clients and pitch our products and services, and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
  • Solution Consultation: Collaborate with technical teams to provide expert advice and consultation to clients, recommending the most suitable solutions based on their requirements.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals to secure contracts with partners.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about the latest developments in the EV charging market, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to position our offerings competitively.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales records in Salesforce, prepare regular sales reports, and provide forecasts to management to support business planning.
  • Customer Support: Ensure a seamless customer experience by coordinating with internal teams to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure timely solution implementation.
  • Partner Marketing and Events: Collaborate and support the Marketing team with partners on joint marketing initiatives, attend industry events, and represent Easee to strengthen brand awareness and foster strategic alliances.

  • Analytical: Proficient in analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to refine strategies and tactics.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.

What you need to bring along:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record with a  maximum of 6 years in B2B sales (preferably in the EV or clean energy sector), with the ability to identify opportunities, negotiate effectively, and close deals.
  • Proficiency in CRM software: (Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and sales tracking tools.
  • Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets while managing multiple accounts and opportunities.
