Het internet groeit snel, en dat geldt ook voor de vraag naar onze services, van Zoeken tot Gmail en YouTube. In 2016 openden we in de Nederlandse Eemshaven een nieuw datacenter om deze groei te kunnen bijhouden. In 2018 kondigden we een uitbreiding van deze campus aan. In juni 2019 maakten we een verdere groei van de Eemshaven bekend, plus plannen voor een nieuwe locatie bij Middenmeer, ongeveer 108 km ten zuiden van de Eemshaven. Hiermee komen onze totale investeringen in Nederlandse datacenters uit op 3,8 miljard euro.
Ons datacenter in de Eemshaven biedt werkgelegenheid aan meer dan 470 mensen. Dit zijn fulltime medewerkers en externe leveranciers, waaronder IT-specialisten, technici, bewakers, cateringpersoneel en faciliteitbeheerders.
Google heeft in Nederland overeenkomsten gesloten met windparken bij Delfzijl en in Zeeland (Krammer en Bouwdokken) en met zonne-energiepark Sunport Delfzijl voor de inkoop van hernieuwbare energie voor onze datacenters.
Vacature
Remote locations: Belgium; Switzerland; Germany; Denmark; Netherlands.Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions across multiple security domains.
- Experience in four or more of the following, such as network protocols, threat intelligence analysis, system and network administration, project management, developing applications, technical incident response processes, source code review, reverse engineering.
- Experience in offensive security.
- Experience with operating system security across Windows, Linux, or Mac.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certifications related to offensive security including OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, CISSP, CISA or relevant SANS courses.
- Experience working with local sales and management teams in driving consulting business generation, scoping or client management.
- Experience in creating security tools and understanding underlying programming languages (such as Python, C#, C/C++, Rust, Nim or similar).
- Ability to communicate technical details through reporting and presentations to both technical and executive audiences.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and public speaking skills.
As a Consultant, you will be responsible for providing cybersecurity consulting services and support to our clients, including assessing and advising clients on both technical and process-based controls for all manner of environments. You will perform Red and Purple team assessments, including adversarial emulation of cyber attacks against customer organizations, and other technical cyber assessments including external engagement, web application, mobile and wireless security testing. You will expand the team’s capabilities through tool creation, research on offensive techniques, incorporation of threat actor intelligence, internal presentations and knowledge share.
In this role, you will develop comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences, and act as a trusted advisor to C-level, security leaders and other customer stakeholders. You will assist with scoping prospective engagements, leading teams for engagements from kickoff through remediation phase, as well as mentoring other staff.

- Collaborate with internal teams to expand capabilities to deliver further value to clients.
- Interface with clients to address concerns, issues, or escalations, track and guide to closure any issues that impact the engagements and its value to clients.
