Business Manager to Head of Business Banking NL

We are looking for a highly organized delivery-oriented all-round Business Manager to the Head of Business Banking Netherlands who will act as an advisor and day-to-day business partner. Your daily tasks will involve supporting and enhancing the Business Banking organization providing governance serving as a trusted advisor on matters of content for the leadership team assisting with strategic projects such as growth initiatives and tracking our progress toward achieving objectives. Your role

As a business manager you will work directly with the Head of Business Banking Netherlands (located in Amsterdam) the Business Banking leadership team and key stakeholders such as ExCo NL Finance HR Risk Communications COO Regulatory & International Affairs and Global Business Banking community in order to advance BBs strategy and ensure targets are achieved. As BM you will oversee & coordinate strategic projects monitor their progress on achieving objectives & report to senior management and play an important role in facilitating the optimal organization of the entire Business Banking. This role will give you chance to operate on a strategic tactical and operational level.

On a day-to-day basis this means preparing project plans presentations and communication messages in alignment with the BB leadership team; gathering and reporting high quality management information to drive informed decision making.

Your responsibilities

• Support and advise the Head of BBNL and the BBLT to facilitate effective decision making via Portfolio and Performance Management structures.

• Take a leading role in the implementation of strategic priorities projects and initiatives to support strategy execution.

• Drive larger and more complex projects both improvement and remediation activities. Responsible for delivery and result.

• Proactively signal and suggest areas for improvement in internal processes consistent with our efforts to improve our product offering and further digitize our processes. Develop and implement procedures and frameworks in line with guidelines and take care of maintenance.

• Ensure the quality and optimization of management information of BB to drive data driven and fact-based decision making.

• Monitor the progress of key financial and non-financial performance metrics ensuring actions are allocated to the relevant people and are acted upon.

• Develop and maintain relationships in and outside BB to create opportunities and ensure alignment.

About you

• You have a solid understanding of the BB Strategy products processes and people. Translating strategy into policy and executable plans gives you energy.

• You are organizational sensitive and capable of creating buy-in and engagement at all levels of the organization.

• You are a naturally collaborative person who listens and at the same time pushes where needed to break through existing routines.

• You love to challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to problems.

• You have strong analytical skills a structured way of working and you can prioritize tasks.

• You feel comfortable with high work pressure and you have strong work ethics.

• Your skilled to prepare inspiring presentations and short and snappy briefings and reports in PowerPoint Word and Excel.
