The Job

As a Software Engineer at Sempro, you will spend your time designing, developing and installing innovative software solutions and you will build out the next generation of the companies robust & scalable platform. You will work independently in an Agile environment and will actively pursue continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Building high – quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with

coding standards and technical designs in collaboration with the system architect.

- Gathering user requirements, defining system functionalities and writing code in

various languages.

- Working out mechanical concepts in software architecture and building blocks for a

full software detail design.

- Directing system testing and validation procedures and document development in

flowcharts and layouts.

- Using version control and update issues in an issue tracking tool.

- Working with customers or departments on technical issues including software

system design and maintenance as well debugging software problems.

- Providing recommendations for continuous improvement and work alongside other

engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.

Your qualifications

You have affinity and/or experience with project management and Agile software

development and you are fluent in Dutch and English. Moreover, you have the necessary

communicative skills to operate in a growing software group, as well as a proactive mindset in finding opportunities for improvement. You are an ambitious person with interest in software development and architecture in industrial environments.

Furthermore, you have the following educational skills:

- HBO education (Bachelor).

- 5 years (Siemens) PLC programming experience.

- Object-oriented programming knowledge.

- Preferably experience with C#.NET (or VB.NET), ASP.NET and MySql

- Experience with Visual Studio, SourceTree (or other version control software), JIRA

(or other ticketing system), and preferably with TIA Portal V15.1/16.
