Sewing Machine Operator

Do you have experience operating an industrial sewing machine and a keen eye for precision? Then this job as a Sewing Machine Production Worker is perfect for you. At a brand-new production facility in Culemborg, you will be stitching high-quality upholstery fabrics, ensuring a neat and taut finish on every product. If you already have experience stitching furniture, you’ll have a great head start!

Before starting at the new location in Culemborg, you will spend one day working at the existing facility in Sint-Oedenrode.

This allows you to get familiar with the work and meet your new colleagues beforehand.

As a Sewing Machine Production Worker, you will operate industrial sewing machines to transform separate fabric pieces into a perfect finished product. You will check the fabric for quality beforehand and ensure that patterns and materials align precisely. You will work alongside colleagues in a pleasant production environment where quality and craftsmanship are paramount.

Here is what you will be doing:

• Operating industrial sewing machines;
• Stitching and finishing upholstery fabrics;
• Checking fabrics for quality and defects;
• Working according to production documents and work instructions;
• Taking fabric patterns, seams, and elasticity into account;
• Collaborating with colleagues to meet production schedules.

Dit vragen wij van jou

• Experience as a sewing machine operator or sewer;
• Experience with industrial sewing machines is an advantage;
• Experience with furniture upholstery/stitching is a major plus;
• You are able to read and understand technical production documents;
• You work precisely and have an eye for quality;
• A driver's license is desirable, as you will need to travel to Sint-Oedenrode for the induction day.
