The role

As a Interim Senior Engineer Plans & Arrangements, you will be at the forefront of outfitting engineering, focusing on accommodation and technical spaces excluding engine rooms. Collaborating with a team of outfitting engineers, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure the functionality, maintainability, and ergonomic design of outfitting arrangements.

Key accountabilities
In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Execute engineering activities using 2D and 3D environments, such as Cadmatic or 3DExperience (Catia).

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

• Develop necessary information, including arrangements, lists, and fabrication/mounting drawings.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the department.

• Develop and describe yard standards to enhance operational efficiency.

Skills & experience
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Secondary vocational education (MBO-4+) related to outfitting discipline.

• At least four years of experience in engineering outfitting systems.

• Proficiency in 2D CAD and 3D CAD systems, such as Cadmatic or 3DExperience (Catia).

• Knowledge of Class and Statutory regulations and outfitting systems, preferably within the maritime or offshore industries.

• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.

• Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.

• Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates with EU (work) visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
