Sales Order Manager (Temporary Assignment – 6 Months)

Location: Amsterdam (minimum 3 days per week on-site)

Monthly Salary: €4,800–€5,300 (based on a 40-hour workweek, before tax)

Start date: As soon as possible

Hours: Full-time

Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension

Language: English-speaking candidates are welcome (Dutch not required)

Position Overview

As a Sales Order Manager, you will manage the full end-to-end order process within Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS). You ensure accurate and timely order entry, inventory allocation, issue resolution, and strong communication with internal teams, including Sales, Finance, Supply/Planning, and Logistics. This role requires adaptability and the ability to operate confidently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management (Oracle EBS)

• Enter, validate, and maintain sales orders in Oracle EBS.
• Monitor the complete order lifecycle and resolve issues (credit holds, ATP/GOP challenges, pricing discrepancies).
• Manage order updates, returns, and RMAs in line with compliance requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Finance regarding pricing accuracy, credit checks, and invoicing.

Inventory Allocation & Availability

• Allocate constrained inventory based on customer priority and available supply.
• Review GOP outputs and work with Planning to address ATP mismatches.
• Manage backorders and communicate ETAs proactively.
• Maintain allocation documentation and support allocation governance processes.

Customer Onboarding & Master Data Setup

• Oversee accurate and timely onboarding of new customers.
• Coordinate onboarding documentation with Sales, Finance, and Compliance.
• Create and maintain customer master data in Oracle EBS (billing, shipping, payment terms, pricing eligibility).

What You Bring

• Proven experience with Oracle E‑Business Suite (hard requirement).
• Background in order management, supply chain, or a similar operational role.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Proactive, flexible, and comfortable navigating a fast-growing environment.
• Strong communication skills English is sufficient for this role.
