Reefer Technician, MAASVLAKTE 2 ROTTERDAM

Are you technically skilled and interested in refrigeration systems? As a Reefer Technician , you will be responsible for ensuring that reefer units and gensets operate safely, efficiently and according to the highest quality standards. You will work at the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam , one of Europe's largest and most innovative port areas.

You will receive a full-time contract through Adecco . This is a long-term assignment with the opportunity for permanent employment based on performance.

Your responsibilities include:

• Inspecting and repairing reefer units and gensets
• Recording completed work, spare parts usage and refrigerant consumption
• Carrying out modifications, retrievals and customer-specific requests
• Supporting terminal activities such as monitoring and temperature checks
• Working in accordance with STEK regulations and safety procedures
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace
• Separating and disposing of waste materials correctly

• Gross hourly salary between €17.30 and €18.32 , depending on experience
• 14% shift allowance on every hour worked
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre
• Full-time position in a two-shift schedule, Monday to Friday
• 8.33% holiday allowance and 25 vacation days based on full-time employment

• Experience in the maintenance and repair of reefer units, refrigeration systems or gensets
• Basic knowledge of refrigeration technology and STEK regulations
• Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written
• A responsible, accurate and safety-conscious attitude
• Own transportation is required, as the Maasvlakte location is not always easily accessible by public transport
