Over de functie

As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for the smooth organisation of daily warehouse operations and for supervising a small team of 2 logistics employees.

Your role will include distributing tasks, monitoring work progress and making sure the daily schedule is followed. At the same time, you will actively participate in warehouse operations and support your colleagues whenever needed.

You will work in a modern logistics centre where efficiency, good organisation and teamwork are key.

Your daily responsibilities:

• supervising and supporting a team of 2 logistics employees
• organising and distributing daily tasks
• monitoring work progress and ensuring the daily schedule is followed
• actively working with loading and unloading goods
• supporting inventory control and stock management
• ensuring the smooth flow of inbound and outbound processes
• identifying problems and bottlenecks in daily operations
• suggesting improvements to work organisation and logistics processes
• supporting the team with daily warehouse tasks
• ensuring a safe, clean and well-organised working environment
• working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, can organise and coordinate the work of others, but also likes to stay actively involved in warehouse operations.

Wat wij vragen

• Experience in logistics or warehouse operations
• Previous experience as a supervisor, team leader or in a coordinating role is an advantage
• Ability to organise and coordinate the work of others
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Independent, responsible and proactive approach to work
• Good organisational skills and attention to order
• Willingness to actively participate in physical warehouse work
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good command of Dutch
• English is an advantage
