Purpose We are looking for a motivated, creative and detail-oriented PMO Intern to join our Project Management Office. As Intern you'll have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project governance, reporting, communications and organisational excellence across a diverse portfolio of initiatives.
As part of our PMO team, you will support the foundations that keep projects running smoothly. You assist with reporting, help develop training materials, follow up with project managers and create visually engaging presentations and communications. This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys working with digital tools, learns quickly and is eager to develop skills in project management, analytics, communication and design.
Explore, Contribute and Grow
- Assist with compiling and organizing project data for project portfolio reporting, dashboards, and portfolio reviews, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with collecting and maintaining data in the resource management tool, helping ensure accurate visibility of resource allocation across project and departments.
- Assist in preparing training materials on project management best practices and the EU-PMO process requirements.
- Ensure our project management software (Wrike) is updated with accurate project plans, timelines and data.
- Support the preparation of PowerPoint presentations.
- Prepare PMO newsletters, updates, and community communications to keep our project community aligned and engaged.
- Assist with research on latest project management trends and best practices.
Are you a match?- Currently enrolled in a school/university in the Netherlands, pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications or a related field.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal), with proficiency in English.
- Creativity and comfort with visual design tools
- Interest in project management, PMO operations or organizational effectiveness.
- Curious, proactive, fast learner especially when it comes to new tools and digital platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
