Global Operational Buyer

At ICL, we create impactful solutions for humanity’s sustainability challenges in global food, agriculture, and industrial markets. Our European Headquarters in Amsterdam is home to our Global Procurement Organization (GPO), where global sourcing strategies and procurement decisions are made.

We are looking for a Global Operational Buyer – Indirect Contractors & Energy to join our team. In this role, you will support procurement operations and strategic sourcing activities across multiple countries, focusing on Contractors and Energy services, including Projects and MRO. You will work closely with Sourcing Managers and Operational Buyers under the leadership of the Head of Indirect Contractors & Energy.

What you will do

• Execute procurement operational activities across multiple regions using ERP systems (SAP/QAD).

• Support strategic sourcing initiatives for Contractors, aiming for cost optimization while maintaining service quality and vendor performance.

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers; negotiate and finalize framework agreements for global and EU regional services under guidance from Sourcing Managers.

• Prepare bid documents, tenders, comparisons, and perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel.

• Build and manage global/regional supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance and compliance.

• Address operational issues with suppliers and resolve invoice-related challenges.

• Prepare and issue savings and activity reports.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement or project contracting.

• Strong understanding of contracting services markets.

• Excellent command of English; Spanish or Hebrew is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a results-driven mindset.

• Negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

• Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands-on attitude.
