Full Stack Developer - Build the data platform for smart horticulture

Your role

You’ll be a key contributor across our stack: designing APIs in Python/Java, building rich Angular frontends in TypeScript, and shipping reliable, secure services on AWS and Google. As our junior/medior full stack developer you collaborate closely with Product, Data/AI and Commercial to turn customer problems into elegant, scalable software. Expect ownership, fast feedback, and real-world impact.

What you’ll do

• Ship end-to-end features: from schema and service design to polished UI and rollout
• Build and evolve robust REST APIs, data pipelines and integrations
• Create clean, modular Angular components and micro-frontends in TypeScript.
• Engineer for reliability: testing, observability, CI/CD, IaC, and secure-by-default patterns.
• Improve performance and cost efficiency across services and queries.
• Collaborate in agile rituals, turning customer insights into backlog items with clear acceptance criteria.
• Review code, mentor teammates, and raise the engineering bar.

Our tech stack (you don’t need all, but you’re strong in many)

• Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, state management, testing (Vitest/Jasmine).
• Backend: Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask), Java (Spring Boot), SQL/NoSQL, messaging/streaming.
• Cloud & DevEx: AWS (ECS/Lambda/S3/RDS), Terraform/CDK, Docker, GitHub Actions, OpenAPI, Grafana/Prometheus.

You are

• 4+ years experience building production web applications end-to-end.
• Solid CS fundamentals (data modeling, concurrency, distributed systems basics).
• Pragmatic problem-solver: you ship, measure, iterate.
• Comfortable owning features across frontend and backend; you enjoy pair programming and code reviews.
• Collaborative and product-minded; you translate user needs into simple solutions.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with time-series data, IoT/sensors, or data-driven products for operations.
• GraphQL, gRPC, or event-driven architectures.
• Security hardening in cloud environments (IAM, secrets, networking).
• UX empathy and an eye for usable UI details.
