As a Solution Architect Reporting House, you translate the digitalisation strategy into concrete solutions for the business. You work on smart and future-proof data and reporting solutions. You collaborate with IT, business, and architecture on the energy grid of tomorrow in Arnhem. This is a position for 32 to 40 hours per week. You make the grid smarter at Alliander.

As a Solution Architect Reporting House, you bring the digitalisation strategy to life. You ensure that development teams work according to agreed architectural principles and translate complex frameworks into practical and workable solutions. In doing so, you directly contribute to reliable, safe, and affordable energy networks.

We build the energy grid of the future for everyone, with everyone. And as a Solution Architect, you actively contribute to this by:

• translating enterprise architecture frameworks and domain guidelines into concrete data and reporting solutions;
• supporting development teams with architectural decisions and technical challenges;
• defining non-functional requirements and evaluating solution directions;
• aligning with product managers, chapter leads, and release train engineers on architecture and priorities;
• fostering collaboration within and beyond the Reporting House;
• guiding enabler epics and contributing to standards and ways of working within the platform.

Within the Reporting House, you collaborate with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, Product Managers, and development teams. Together, you work on:

• reliable, organisation-wide data products and management information;
• dashboards and cockpits tailored to business needs;
• predictive models for strategic and operational decision-making;
• a self-service data environment for colleagues;
• a future-proof data and reporting landscape within Alliander.

You work partly from the office in Arnhem and partly from home, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

You make the grid more energetic

You do this with your own strengths: overview, analytical thinking, and a structured approach. And you do this with us. Will you contribute with your logical way of thinking and connecting communication style? And do you also bring:

• a bachelor’s or master’s level of thinking and working;
• experience in data, business intelligence, and reporting environments;
• knowledge of data solutions such as SAP, Snowflake, Power BI, and Matillion;
• knowledge of software architecture, modern frameworks, and cloud platforms;
• the ability to clearly communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What we offer you

Based on a 40-hour workweek, you will receive:

• a salary between €6,311 and €9,016 gross per month (scale 11);
• an Individual Choice Budget (ICB) of 18% (full-time) or 12.8% (part-time), including holiday allowance;
• 24.5 vacation days, with the option to extend using your ICB;
• a year-end bonus of 6% of your annual salary;
• a €700 sustainable employability budget;
• an NS Business Card or travel allowance if using your own transport.
